The faucet’s internal diverter had failed. The customer had a replacement faucet, but its factory hot and cold supply lines were too short to reach the RV plumbing.

What Sunset did or recommended
Removed the original 1/2-inch female water-line connections, installed new shut-off valves with 3/8-inch compression fittings, added one-foot braided supply lines with 3/8-inch by 1/2-inch connections, and installed the replacement faucet.
