What the customer noticed
The original water-heater tank had cracked. The owner had already purchased a replacement unit and needed it installed while preparing the trailer for someone to live in on her property.

What inspection and testing revealed
The water-heater tank was cracked. The existing plumbing used plastic 1/2-inch fittings, and the cone seals in the swivel connections were replaced to provide dependable seals with the new installation.
Work performed or recommended
What Sunset did or recommended
Removed the damaged water heater and installed the customer-supplied replacement. Upgraded the hot-water outlet with a brass check valve, installed a 1/2-inch brass connector on the cold-water inlet, and replaced the cone seals in both 1/2-inch swivel connections.

The replacement water heater and upgraded plumbing connections were installed. The Jayco Jay Flight is one step closer to being ready for its occupant.
